Probably the better side but not converted that enough to goals 1-1

I hope Man Utd do this. Shaw has been really good!

Shae is finally turning into the player he looked like he could become at St Mary's been 7 years to do it though

TBF the current coaching set up there is pretty decent. He was beasted by Mourinho for a while too.

Pogba still irritates me though, strutting tw*t. As does Emery's face.

He's only 25 - just 1 year older than Walker-Peters. He hasn't reached his peak yet.

Plus he snapped his leg in two which may have hindered his progress somewhat

Luke Shaw is becoming the player I said he would become after watching a reserve game at St Mary’s against Arsenal . He was superb that game you could see he had it and I enthused about him at the time only to be told by a certain person you can’t go on a Mickey Mouse reserve game and that Danny Fox was better.

He has been ravaged by injury but he is now probably England’s best left back and plays for the biggest club in the world.

The probem is that players who break into the first team at a young age ie under 18 always seem to struggle later in their careers, they damage their bodies , they havent built up the stamina needed for the level of training and they pay the price at a later age.

Look at the youngsters that break through as teenagers Rooney, Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and a host of others, they peak at 25/26 and then struggle in their late 20's.

So perhaps Pep should be given more credit for holding back Foden when everyone was screaming that he should be in their first team. Foden will benefit in the long run.

Villareal with their tiny resources ,small stadium and small fan base and tiny population winning one of Europe's top prizes!!
Villareal, Lille, Athletico Madrid ,Leicester, Westham and St Johnston to name just 6 have beaten the likes of Barcelona , Real Madrid , Man Utd , Rangers ,Celtic and PSG to big trophies this season.
Yes it is still sport and having deep pockets may help but its more than that.
Using a lack of resources is a poor lame excuse for our season especially when we proved over a 30 game period before that we were a top 6 outfit.
Get the club right from top to bottom and this is what can happen.

Spot on.

The clamour in the press for him to be sent out on loan, was ridiculous.

Who better to learn under, Pep/Silva (x2), de Bruyne, Mahrez etc. etc., or some upper table Championship side that probably won't play the same way?

I do get frustrated at times that Pep doesn't play Liam Delap and Tommy Doyle a bit more in the cup games, especially against lower division teams, but Foden he has worked/trained/used, perfectly.

Still stood in the Kippax

I was made up that United got beat, listening to the media yesterday you’d have thought that they’d only had to turn up to pick up the trophy.

As for Saturdays final, I hope City thump Chelsea. It is strange though how there isn’t the wall to wall coverage on SSN, Five Live etc that we normally get when the hedge fund socialists are in the final.

All that I care about regarding their game last night is they conceded more than 9 as far as I’m concerned.

Pretty much any time those cvnts lose is a good day as far as I’m concerned...although didn’t they contrive to lose to the Skates that year the fishy few bought the FA Cup?

Interesting to hear the comments from United fans on the radio kicking off big time. They are runners up in the EPL. They just narrowly lost a major European competition. They are playing in the Champions League next season. My heart bleeds for them.
