The Gunners are starting to misfire a bit of late, could be a chance of something there, certainly might suit us more than the few games, City accepted

Sadly, another game where a team hasn't won for ages/has lost form/completely out of sorts etc etc... until Saints come to town & said team rediscovers top form by walloping Saints 5-0.

The script is written already!

In the words of Joe Strummer " The Future Is Unwritten" scripts may be written by=ut they can be changed, am I confident of Saints getting anything at Arsenal ? truthfully no Im not, but over the years we have upset the form book before and can do it again

Also in the words of Joe Strummer, "Somebody Got Murdered".

I think that'll be more appropriate for Friday night.

Does the three goal rule apply to plastic fat lumps sat on their sofa enjoying a Heineken or 3?

Asking for a friend.

TIA

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.
Poll: Knowing what we know now, should we have sacked Hasenhüttl?

Yes you have to get up off the sofa walk out the door and walk up the road mumbling to yourself before engaging a complete stranger in a diatribe about where things are going wrong.

If you have to watch at home at least get the authentic after match experience

Looking on the bright side, at least AMN won't be playing.

The good news about friday is the Compton Arms is still open so there's a decent pub to head to when we go 3-0 down.

Other than that i'm not sure i can think of many positives

Arsenal last 6 games - 4 wins, 2 draws, 18 goals scored.
Southampton last 6 games - 2 draws, 4 defeats, 4 goals scored.

There’s only one way Friday’s game is going.

Compton a bit overpriced now, and more of a Gastro pub than the great boozer it used to be

That's pretty much Highbury in general though sadly, there's a real lack of proper boozers in that part of London, though some great ones round canonbury way

The Anchor & Hope, a very historical pub music wise that has had the likes of U2, The Stranglers, Madness & Joy Division play there in its late 80's heyday.

Also an Australian punk band called The Saints

Hope and Anchor is ok but still not what i'd call a proper boozer, most of the proper boozers in highbury now are gastro pubs, even places like The Marquess Tavern have gone "upmarket", though i was in the Myddleton Arms a little while back and that still felt like a pub.

Canonbury has a few more still but you probably need to drink to essex road, finsbury park or newington green if you want actual boozers now
