Seriously though what has he done that would make him a better bet than Russell Martin ?
Funny that he gets the sack only hours after media reports suggest he want to sign Jack Stephens on a permanent deal

Well.....
He took over a Boscombe side which was a mess, having lost 9-0 at Liverpool in their last game before he took over, and which Scott Parker had openly said wasn't good enough to stay up.
They got 36 points in his time there, including beating Liverpool at home and Spurs away. Stayed up comfortably.
Meanwhile, Swansea conceded 64 goals in the Championship last season.
