I watched the Everton v Chelsea game yesterday and was not impressed with Lavia and he was subbed on 57 min.
Dibling didn't even get off the bench,how many times has he done that?
Saints got 53 million plus add-ons for Lavia and 35 million plus for Dibling.
While I don't doubt their talent they don't appear to be progressing too well at the moment.

To be blunt it is always about cash these days, both could have stayed at Saints and progressed their careers, but on half the wages they would have been on at Chelsea or Everton on 5 year contracts.
It's more about risk though, if you are on £60k a week at Saints and you get a career ending injury on a two year contract then you are not as rich than if it happened on £120k a week on a 5 year deal |  |

Moyes recently spoke very highly of Dibling and said he’s one for the future along with Aznou, George, Rohl and Armstrong, all under 21 and all in an around the first team squad. Had Everton been crap this season and Dibling and the others weren’t playing, there would be calls questioning the money spent. As it is, the team are doing really well, looking good for Europe and a million times healthier than they’ve been in years.

You have suggested this before, but correct me if I am wrong but Dibling is the second maybe third highest transfer in Everton's history.
Of course Moyes has to speak highly of Dibling, he is a squad player and not done anything wrong, however given the fee paid they did not pay it for one for the future, he is one of only around 6 players who Everton have paid more than £30 million for.
If Everton don't make Europe people will question why they spent all that money on someone who has played so little.

I don’t think many blues really give two hoots about Dibling being the third highest transfer, there’s been little grumbling about the money spent on Rohl, Aznou or George either because they are exactly the type of transfers that Everton have previously missed out on. Dibling not getting a game at the moment isn’t necessarily a slight on him, he’s up against one of the best players in his position in the league this season in Ndiaye. As for not getting minutes from the bench, they don’t call Moyes Dithering David for nothing. His use of the subs bench, or lack of it, is notorious.

If he cant get a few minutes when you are 3-0 up or losing then his time probably wont come. Lets face it Everton and Bournemouth probably have similar ambitions right now. They buy teenagers in and they hit the ground running. Tyler hasnt even started walking and cost 40mill. |  |

Fellows has been ok this season, he just had a mid season dip in form, he is showing signs of getting his mojo back | |

Sorry to say, I don't think he will make it that big. He will end up somewhere like Palace or Forest, a team in the lower reaches. Not a slant on his ability but he clearly is not the strongest person mentally with home sickness etc. having been reported before. I think he will end up being a JWP, there or there abouts but never a huge star. |  | | |
