| 5 Things About Bolton Game 09:59 - Oct 19 with 1453 views | SaintNick | 1. The ground wasn't much less full than last week, but understandably the atmoshere was flat, the Northam fanzone area chocca an hour before kick off was only about half the number there. 2. The Chapel Kop seemed to have a lot less in their bit next to the away fans, i'm sure they will be happy at that, given their preferred alternative hipster stance and a lack of Adidas Gazelles and Stone Island would have been welcomed by them. 3. It's worrying about our lack of firepower, even Tonda seems to have given up on Divin Mubama 4. How did the Southampton's worst keeper ever, keep a clean sheet at St Mary's on Saturday, his best attempt in Saints colours be public perception was a 3-1 home defeat to Brighton on Boxing Day 2022. 5. A third clean sheet was in a row was good, but it seems to be at the expense of a free flowing attacking game | |

| 5 Things About Bolton Game on 10:27 - Oct 19 with 1379 views | shotters | My brother in law enjoyed his first trip to St Marys. He told me the last time he was in Southampton was 1974 when they were emigrating from Birmingham to New Zealand Im thinking about moving from my seat at the top of block 19, getting tired of the pair of pissed up gobshites sitting behind me. A Carhartt military jacket and Adidas ZX600 were my attire on Saturday The failure to bring in a like for like replacement for Ross Stewart is possibly going to cost us this season, whilst i think the draw was a fair result, we had the chances to win the game Bazunu didnt really have a decent save to make, poor finishing that was wide of the target were the reason for his clean sheet imo Were not going to blow teams away at home every week and Bolton defended well [Post edited 19 Oct 10:28]

You say missing out, did we actually go for him? Also Piroe would have been a good shout. I see he was on the bench at the weekend for the Hammers

kingslandstand1, you know our Blobby22 won't answer a difficult question don't you? Ask him an easy one like where's the cheapest place to buy 10 pies, and a diet coke

I empathise, I had two blokes sat behind me who didn't stop yakking the whole bloody match and then only about 5% of their moronic babbling was about Saints. The rest being about ageing, loving their mother, work and blah blah blah. That on top of such a poor match made it like some form of torture - how I didn't tell them to shut the fvck was a miracle. Fortunately I was in the Itchen South temporarily and for me this is the worst part of the ground being cold, dark and grey with a shit concourse.

I thought that other than the feeble cheating chants they were pretty sound.

That's what set the knob behind me off, he also got triggered by the offside again chant I could understand it to a point last Sunday, even if he was constantly talking bollocks as it was against them but annoying on Saturday Bolton were a lot louder than those mackerels last Sunday
