Bring in a new manager, just to wait for other teams to lose to give us a chance to avoid the drop.

Every team that stays up needs the teams that go down to have a few bad results, just as the team that wins the League needs the team that finishes second to lose

Agree Nick. If we can do a job tonight even if it is a "scruffy" win it at least keeps us in touch. It is going to be tense that is for sure. I just hope the players get it. If we lose tonight then I will really struggle to see where we can get a win from even allowing for the other poor teams around us.

Saints, Bournemouth, Everton will be the three teams to go IMO. Saints and Everton due to complete incompetence at board level.

Everton will be fine. They always pull out of trouble.

It will be 3 from Boscombe, Forest, Saints, Leeds and Wolves.

Poll: Would you take going down to League 1 if it meant new owners coming in?

Everton will sack Lampard later today - just in time for our visit (and thrashing) there next week.

It's the Saints way.

I don’t think he will be sacked. I don’t think it really matters who they get in. Everton, like Saints, are not a well run club.

That Brighton side last night has an 18 year old making his first start run them ragged along with two other youngsters. It doesn’t matter who plays for them who even who manages them, the likes of Brighton and Brentford are run properly, like Saints used to be with their old ‘black box’.

Everton have thrown money at it to paper over the cracks and just about stayed up til now. Saints haven’t done that and I can see both of them going down without much of a fight.

But surely they'll replace Lampard with a totally clueless and inept manager from the Championship with no top flight experience?

This is Mad Moshiri, if he sacks him he will replace him with some other no mark, certainly not from the Championship and will give him a ton of money to spend on dross.

Then rinse and repeat until next year.
