My only hope is SR have decided it's better to leave him charge while they scramble to find his replacement and will make the change once they've found a candidate they think can unpick this mess (although most will agree they'd prefer anyone else to be caretaker). I hope they have learned a very hard lesson that the cheap option is almost always a false economy in that you end up buying twice and getting the expensive option in the end.
