Jose Fonte would do a better job working with our defenders. Look what he's done with young players like Lovren, Alderweireld, van Dijk, Gabriel, Botman etc. He's been an inspirational leader at Southampton and Lille. The next Vincent Kompany?
I'd bring him in, to start with, as first team coach/assistant manager to replace the two duds who've been sacked along with Jones.
If Gallardo is the choice or if Selles sees out this season, I can see him working well with either of them and being ready to step up; if it's Steve Bruce, God help us. [Post edited 12 Feb 2023 11:52]

It'll take a miracle to stop us going down now so need someone thst can do well in the Championship as well.
