Hope and Anchor is ok but still not what i'd call a proper boozer, most of the proper boozers in highbury now are gastro pubs, even places like The Marquess Tavern have gone "upmarket", though i was in the Myddleton Arms a little while back and that still felt like a pub.
Canonbury has a few more still but you probably need to drink to essex road, finsbury park or newington green if you want actual boozers now | | | |
