Meanwhile that useless donkey Tall Paul is banging goals in for Trabzonspor So every club he’s been given a chance at he’s been prolific and more importantly injury free What an absolute shambles our transfer policy has been under Ankersen and co

He did not pass it, but the club were convinced it was only a minor problem. Just like Larios, he has had the longest hamstring injury ever known!! He will properly just run his contract down and leave on a free!

Unbelievable isn't,Matt. Only Saints could be desperate for a Striker and loan one out with a goal scoring record of Tall Paul and spend millions on one with an serious injury. I have little confidence that in January we will find a decent striker. This will ultimately cost us of any chance of winning the playoffs.

Everyone goes on about how good Tall Paul is, Yes, but you have to play to his strengths and slow build up, ball hoofed into the area is not it. If you look at most of his goals the ball is played into space where he can create chances, with Saints the ball would be played to him with 4 or 5 players around him.

I haven't heard everyone going on about how good Tall Paul is,quite the contrary. It would be a good idea to play to his strengths, yes. Why the slow build up?
Hes scored with plenty of goals with players marking him.
It was ridiculous not to give him more time, particularly in the Championship.

It’s the Southampton way Totally crazy to loan him out without giving him a try in the championship

With Tall Paul he just didn't fit in the style of play, banging the ball hopefully into the box isn't being played by most clubs in the Championship let alone the Premier League.
The possession game needs players who can hold the ball up and that wasn't his game, whatever your view on our style of play, it would have been silly to even give him a chance in it, it just isn't his game.
As for Stewart, his latest injury isn't connected to the original one, at ;least not directly, in that he has pulled something after so long out.
Yes Lario has had muscle injuries and even Super Jack Stephens had four months out after pulling something

Easy to hold the ball up when you just pass it sideways and backwards. You need a target man when you take free kicks and corners into your opponents goal area. When you say possession game, you can have all the possession in the world it means nothing if you don’t score. We’ve done well with a good squad but to win promotion we will need more threat in front of goal.January window will make or break us. Adam Armstrong has been brilliant this season but you cant expect him to carry on his own he needs help.
