Neither seem to figure in Tonda's plans this season.
Not many clubs can afford to pay Ramsdales extortionate salary & not many clubs would risk taking Bazuna.
So we could be stuck with both.

I'm in a minority of 1 apparently but Ramsdale is a fine keeper. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see him being first choice if he stays.
Peretz was great last year but he hade plenty of errors that Bazunu would have been crucified for. Headlong rushes from goal and missing the ball seems to be his favourite.
We were on a good run and it didn't cost us. I hope he's a little more calm this year ow he's got a permanent contract. |  | | |

Ramsdale won't give up on his reported 100k a week, and who can blame him? He wasn't wanted at Newcastle. Who would take him on and pay him that? Certainly not one of the big clubs. We will have trouble getting him a new club because other clubs won't match those wages. He would be a great number 2!

I don't see Ramsdale as a better keeper than Peretz.
Peretz commands his box and organizes his defence better.
Ramsdale is a good keeper and would be an excellent back up but is expensive as such. |  | | |

I think Ramsdale is slightly damaged goods now. The Newcastle loan massively back fired. He couldnt establish himself as the number 1, even when Pope wasnt doing well. Had it gone well they would have bought him. All he will getnow is a bottom 6 side. |  |

You don’t get relegated from The Premier League three times with three different clubs unless you are extremely unlucky or not as good as some others think you are.
It’s suggested his original contract earned him £120,000 a week and contained a £25 million release clause.
Hopefully it contained a relegation clause that reduced his wages.
As with a lot of things Southampton F C, you wouldn’t bet on it though. | |
