I have no idea if that’s true or not. Either way, his exit was poorly handled and he’s rightly disliked by any right minded saints fan.

Top player, but clearly the way he left was dreadful and completely airbrushed from premier league history by Liverpool, Sky etc. Definitely don’t want to see any player injured like that and hopefully he’ll be back to his best and at Barcelona or Real Madrid while the micks slip back to their usual 4th-6th place,

Taxpayers Shouldnt Be Paying for Kiddie Meals
at 11:52 16 Oct 2020

Because there are only about a dozen people on here, and it’s just a forum for general chit chat and a bit of Saints. No need for stern tellings off about what post goes where. I’d leave that for Saints Web.

Taxpayers Shouldnt Be Paying for Kiddie Meals

Many wealthy people treat their kids far worse. I’ve never understood if you have kids why you’d absolve parenting and send them to boarding school. That’s outsourcing your parental duties to someone else. Some poor people are coonts but so are many rich ones.

When is his retrial? A stretch in a Greek prison might be the perfect chance to clear his head.

Testing
at 15:11 14 Oct 2020

Temperature checks are pointless so the U.K. is right not to implement them. If you have a temperature you’ll know about it! It’s also a poor indicator of covid and is simply for show. As to testing, the UK fairs well with other western countries; we’re not the best but we’re doing ok.

Everyone’s doing this stuff these days. If anyone listens to the Tailenders podcast they discuss how ridiculous it is. It’s money for nothing really so no surprise MLT is doing it.

britains got talent

How much talent does Britain really have? Not that much I’d say, and certainly not enough for a yearly talent show. I’d run this series every ten years or so.

Pay Per View Premier League
at 11:37 10 Oct 2020

Far too expensive. £4.99 I think would be fair and could possibly stop people using streams. It just shows how out of touch the premier league clubs are if they think this is a good deal.

World beating hey?!
at 17:41 8 Oct 2020

A serious answer to your post 22. It depends on what are other countries doing to judge if ours is world beating or not.

This article suggests while the U.K. isn’t world beating it’s at worst average and probably above average.

How long do you keep these things going though? If it’s a really small venue I’d have more sympathy but I’m not keen on having my taxes going to pay to keep the O2 or Wembley arena viable. Even the smaller venues with no government help should theoretically come back post covid, unless they’re knocked down and turned into apartment blocks.

I think he’s right. As important as the arts are, they’re a bonus and make the world nicer. They’re not though essential. I often wonder listening to musicians talking about their creative process and the lack of awareness they have that they are entertainers. Same often applies with footballers. The music industry is a bloated mess with gigs costing stupid amounts and often about £100 for a big act. That’s madness. I really hope when this is over we’ll get back to smaller grass roots venues and a bit of a reality check.

Who's going to be dropped to accommodate Diallo then?

Heaven forbid we actually have some talent on the bench. You know it is allowed to have more than 11 players.

Waiting for the interview -
“Spiritual home”
“Never wanted to leave”
Something about “philosophy of the club”.

New tag line - We breed them, sell them, buy them before they become pundits.

Reports today that saints have been approached by Walcott
at 19:34 3 Oct 2020

Before going to Everton I’d have had him but he’s not really done anything much there or really for the last few years. Imagine if he did sign we’d end up with a Kanchelskis or Stuart Ripley type of has been.

Saints resolve replica shirts issue
at 11:56 3 Oct 2020

Frankly this is absolutely bizarre. It’s basically a knockoff shirt then. It shows the ineptness of saints and the lack of importance UA thinks towards Saints. If we were a top 6 type team or Rangers/Celtic etc, I’m sure UA would’ve got some hell hole of a factory somewhere in SE Asia to make them quickly.

I liked the third kit and would’ve got one in the end of season sale but might as well get these in a market as there authorised as good as authorised ‘fakes’. Only saints could achieve this level of incompetence. No wonder we struggle to sign players.

When did the FA start giving out work permits? That’s the Home Office, so it’s either complete bollox or poorly worded.
