His Dad had been a steward at Villa, and his attempts to tell his Dad he had got the manager’s job at Villa were met with complete indifference by his Dad, who didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. Man. City are after Ake apparently, which surprises me. I’m not totally convinced by him.
I think they have bought really badly in the last couple of years, and are going to struggle to shift a few of their more expensive signings.
