I have to say, I wish Man United fans every luck if they are trying to get tonight’s game abandoned.

SKY will be utterly apoplectic if it happens a second time for this game.

Would be a fairly notable achievement by their fans.

Why would you want a PL match to be cancelled?

A powerful way of showing it is a game for the fans.

Though I know an armchair enthusiast may beg to differ…..

Are there any more entitled fans than United’s? All this having a pop at the owners, they have spent an absolute fortune recently on the likes of Pogba, Maguire, Sancho, Wan Bissaka, Fred despite being last cost 50 million. What are they protesting about?

And don’t get me started on those yellow and green scarves. The irony that some clowns from the Home Counties are wearing them because it represents the origins of club despite coming from Reading or wherever.

As for tonight, it’s great to see SKY have added an extra half hour on to Monday Night Football so Jamie and Gary can drone on. Can’t wait.

I really don't get it either or how their mouthpiece Neville has the audacity to constantly bang on about the lack of investment when they've spent something like a billion quid on players in the Glazers era. Try supporting Saints ffs.

I find their implosion absolutely hilarious. Gone are the Fergie days where Man United were some sort of 'religion' (according to many of their fans).

But the game isn't for the fans though is it?

It hasn’t been for decades. The PL is an international TV series where the wages of the players are paid by the TV viewers around the world.

It’s not going to change so why bother protesting. All Man Utd fans are doing is complaining that they are a bit shit and their local rivals always win the PL now.

If you want football for the fans the support a non-league team.

It would certainly upset Sky's tv schedule and the glory hunting viewers around the world not being able to watch. It would be quite funny if it got called off and the tourist arm chair flag wavers had to watch Coronation street instead.

Look on the bright side, if the match is cancelled at the last minute all those tvvats who are bussing in from London and all points west (yes, and I’m thinking of nob ends like you, Eamon Holmes and Olly Murs) will have pissed away their time and dosh on nothing. Ironically, like most of man u’s recent signings…

God, I dislike that club. Right up there with the skates and Celtic in the all time turd stakes.

To be fair their owners have taken a billion out of the club and they dumped a huge debt on the club when they bought it.

I think the majority of the TV payments are garnered from UK Sky and BT subscriptions. We are all paying through the nose to be treated as gimps.

It’s like MUTV this. For Saturday’s game, I’d be amazed if Saints get mentioned more than twice during the BT build up.

To be fair though i doubt you'd have heard many scouse accents if they'd done the same type of interviews in liverpool.

That game was the plastic fan derby, and pretty good example of everything wrong with football.

Two sides "supported" by out of town fans, with massive senses of entitlement who think spending a billion pounds is somehow a failure.

I have slightly more time for United than Liverpool as Liverpool are so f*cking full of themselves and bury their head in the sand about the fact they've bought the league the same as everyone else, but it's rizla thin in all honesty.

Considering this is supposed to be a massive Derby, the fans hatred for each other, and the commentator calling it a cauldron tonight, I never heard the Scouse fans till they scored on 82min and the Mancs didn't make much noise either, or was my TV playing up?
