It was a fantastic night. First impressions of RM are good. He greeted the 3000 travelling fans before the game and then after the final whistle.Went down well with the fans. He seems calm and determined. The team looked in control and was impressed how we didn't collapse when they equalised. We went on and got the win.

We still don't like the direct approach, especially long balls lobbed into the box (or even throws as seen last night).
The interview post match were interesting. Tella didn't commit to staying and Martin went on about how big the squad was and more leaving, but very little mention of whether new people will come in.
Finally, a great start and good result, but jury is out for me on whether this will be good enough to get us up. We will be hard to beat, but will we score and win enough ? [Post edited 5 Aug 2023 8:19]

I am going savour the result for the time being, but did anyone else find it bit tedious watching us play 20ft passes to each other, 5 or 6 times in one go ?
It's no wonder we broke the passing record for a game in Championship. It sometimes felt that we made loads of insignificant passes for the sake of it, with very little end product.
