If you look at the individual signings too it is obvious - which other club would have prioritised signing Ryan Manning, or this summer Nathan Wood and Ryan Fraser? Russ would have a say on bit part players like the ones you mentioned but I would doubt he would have any say on players like the Man City kids who the club are buying solely as they (falsely) believed they could turn a profit on them. | |
