Oh how people laughed at his mad antics.

Triple fist pumps and corner flag waving after stodgy victories brought smiles and much mirth.

Yep…. He’s pacey. Very quick across the ground but quicker to multiple yellow cards.

I’m done with him.
He’s an absolute liability and has sawdust for brain cells with ball never knowingly under his control.
The first goal this evening totally on him and yet again his overall game had me on the edge of my seat as he’s like a chain smoker in a fireworks factory.

Such a shame that the best QPR defender I’ve seen in recent years was on the bench tonight. Sadly it wasn’t our bench and that’s a scandal

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I agree that the second yellow was dumb , but I can’t accept he cost us the game. All they had to I do was keep their heads for four (FOUR) minutes and see it out. We had enough experienced heads out there, Dunne, Cook, RND, Field to ensure that this happened. We were big on shit-housers against stoke for the entire game apparently, yesterday couldn’t do it for four (FOUR) minutes. Walsh should have gone down, take a yellow if needs be, just kill the game stone dead. Parkinson said they ‘smelt blood’ and he was right, because we absolutely capitulated. That’s on the players ON the pitch, not the player OFF it. Twenty minutes left, I would agree with you, but four (FOUR). I mean, come on.

Yes it’s a good point well made .

Ultimately though in my opinion , if he stays on the pitch we win the match .

This is word for word what I said in the pub. Absolutely embarrassing.

However, as a vocal defender of Mbenge, that is comfortably one of the single stupidest things I have ever seen a Rangers player do, and was absolutely indefensible

edit: i spelt embarrassing wrong, which is, ironically, embarrassing

Joe Walsh must be buying Mbengue his beers this week. He condeded two stoppable goals and handed one over himself free of charge on Saturday but Mbengue is taking all the flack.

I think Walsh should get flak for both the second and third goals along with various others but mistakes are more forgivable than utter stupidity. Still annoyed at his first yellow he talked himself into.

Of course he cost us the game by being sent off: do you honestly believe we’d let in two goals in injury time if we still had eleven players?

While not a nailed on 10-pager, currently Mbengue has more yellow cards than we've got pages on this thread about him...and we're still in January!

Completely agree.

We were reasonably comfortable until that point .
The reason the players on the pitch lost the plot …was the red card.

My argument is the flip side of this Ned. Why should going down to ten, with four minutes left, have been a cause for complete and utter capitulation, bearing in mind we had four or five players (all defenders or defensive mid-fielders) with the guts of a thousand Championship games under their belt?

There's no particular logic to it I'm afraid. Shit happens!

The answer to that Myke is that we should have been able to cope with ten men for rthe remaining minutes.

However, Mbengue should not have put us in that position. There was no need to touch the Wrexham player, let alone jump into him. Put some blame on the ten that were on the pitch at the end, but please don't try to excuse him for another moment of his madness.

Well, now he’s not playing for a while - the thread will double in size !!!

Same for ex players :-)

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?
