I took it on and went for a run, bearing in mind ive been running in 30 degree heat in Greece a couple of weeks ago with no issues I thought this would be ok
But to be hones after 2 1/2 miles in 34/35 degrees I was cooked and had to slow down and jog back home for a mile.
Sweated like a pig especially after a coldish shower

Don't like it all. It's great when you have an air conditioned hotel / villa, the beach and swimming pool on holiday. It's bloody horrible living daily life in this sweltering heat.
Night time is the worse. Almost impossible to sleep in a room that feels like a sauna. The air just doesn't move and you can't escape this heat.
I am really hoping Andy Burnham gives us all AC units for times when it's this hot. |  |

It’s not pleasant doing driving lessons in this heat even with good air conditioning. When you get a real fatty they sweat profusely and the seats are literally soaking wet. I do carry a few old towels sometimes which I make them sit on .

Strange really isn't it.
I lived in Australia for 3-years when I was 5 until 8 years old. Loved the sun & heat.
Spent 12-years at sea from my mid teens onwards and a lot of time in North Africa, the Middle East, Indian Ocean, West Indies, The Mediterranean. Loved all that time on the upper deck laying in the sun with a bottle of Hawaiian Tropic red foil label 'no sunscreen' tanning oil - doing my best to make myself look like Ghandi... and succeeding. Never got too hot for me. Never could get enough rays. Loved those days.
Fast forward to today however and now in my 60's... and I can't stand this heat anymore! I like it being 72/74 degrees or thereabouts, but any more than and it's too much. This current heatwave is pretty much unbearable & trying to sleep at night is near-on impossible.
It's no fun becoming an old fart in life. |  |

I work on the IOW and sweated like a pig yesterday, my watch showed 36 degrees at one point.
Struggled to sleep for the last few might, not having air con at home. Although considered getting one but feel a hypocrite as that only adds to the climate change.

I dread it when I get one in this heat maybe I should charge more. After they’ve got out I have to lean forward so not to touch the back of my seat. I tend to teach females preferably non fatties. The trouble is you don’t really know what they look like until they turn up for the lesson . | |
