1. Excellent performance. Was genuinely worried at 2-1, as we started the second-half really sloppily, but when they scored we just went up another gear. Sign of a good team.
2. Much better use of substitutions than on Saturday. Matsuki is beginning to look a better sub than a starter.
3. Thought it was a good crowd, with the Chapel Kop getting a bit fuller. Bit weird that the small Swansea following were condensed into a block as far away from Saints fans as possible
4. We do descend at times into Russell Martin type faffery at the back, and could have been punished a couple of times in the second-half for it.
5. Even when he’s eventually fit, I don’t see Ross Stewart getting much game time at Swansea.

All good points.
When we are positive with the ball we look an excellent side. At the start of the second half we decided to play conservatively and before u know it we were on the back foot. They pressurised us high up and we continuously gave the ball away.
I know its my hobby horse but peretz had his usual calamitous moment when p'ing about and gave the ball straight to their striker on the edge of the 6 yard box. He got away with it luckily but he seems to be forgiven for flapping at crosses and poor distribution when other keepers aren't.
Then they scored and youre right, everything changed. We decided to go forward with intent again and suddenly there was only one winner. Everyone did well but Azaz really makes us tick. Honestly if he played with more confidence and arrogance he would be the best player in the championship. Overall a great performance. |  | | |

1. Agreed, it was an excellent performance. I really enjoyed it. Last night was the first complete performance that was strong and convincing.
2. Again, agreed. Tonda isn't stubborn. He got it wrong at Lincoln with making subs far too early, but Tonda accepts mistakes and learns straight away. Keeping Larin, Sciensa, Azaz on the pitch until late in the game worked. Once the game wss won at 3-1, then it is the time to make changes.
3. I heard the Chapel from the other end, stand up if you love the Saints! Nearly 28k for an evening game was good. Just shows you what cheap category C tickets do to help attract the fans.
4. Saints are so much better when just attack with intensity. Good to see us going for the 4th, after the 3rd. All the talk around me was we have to beat them down the road this season. Play like that, and we will.
5. If we get injuries and suspensions to key players, I worry about the strength of the squad, but this first 11 can get automatic promotion. Only 4 points off the top, is refreshing to see. Also worry about the impact of any ban for Tonda on the team, but we shall see. |  |
