It was suggested that Saints were after Matt Grimes from Swansea too, but he's just signed a new two year contract there.

Do you remember, away at Wolves he tried to head it in from 2ft away and somehow missed (I like Che but that was a terrible miss). Thank God he didn't try to "just" head this one in. | | | |

Even with Dyche there. Just shows that you can't get anywhere, even with a good manager if you have terrible players. It's their attitude. They give up on their 100 grand a week because they are too special to fight. You can't get anywhere in the PL unless you spend huge amounts. Yes, if I was Adams I would stay well clear. This is the issue Chelsea will have offering youngsters 7 year deals. They know they are made for life. Some will not be bothered even if they don't play. Will they have the same hunger/incentive to do well after a few years if they are not getting picked, or happy to turn up and train, pick up shed loads of money and go home to the play station ? Surprised he didnt celebrate the goal with the fans ,instead he ran to the opposite corner and one or 2 of the Plymouth massive having words with him and jannyb . ... perhaps he was getting stick during the game ?
