All things considered this is probably just about the best side we could have put out

Yeah I agree tho I'm questioning why Sam Edozie isn't on the bench? I'm sure he would love a few minutes against them

Why has it taken 10 or so games for Ralph to put our strongest team out bar Daillo. I think it’s time for Mcarthy to come back in

Well took 20 minutes
Biggest surprise is Haaland didn’t score it

We were always gonna lose today but we need a new manager quick
There is already a gap appearing at the bottom and we need points

I am not going to lose sleep over this game. Yes, we will lose and not unexpected.

This team cost absolute millions. Their bench is probably more than out team, we (and many others) can not be expected to compete at their level.

I would have been happy if the Euro Super League had got off the ground and make the Premier League more competitive.

As I type we have got one back (not a goal, just a shot on goal) !

Tella scores another for Burnley, Broja given his chance at Chelsea and scores....and weren't Saints looking at Liam Delap (who also scored today)....

Great, that’s that out of the way.

*now* can we sack him?

Well, it could have been worse.
Man City were very charitable by taking off their best players.
I wonder what the conversation was between Ralph & Pep at the final whistle.
I think Pep was wishing Ralph all the best in his new career.

Pep was probably asking him how he was going to spend his pay off while sat at home

None of us were surprised by todays result, the only surprise was that it was not 9-0.
Also how are we not yet in the bottom 3.

"All things considered this is probably just about the best side we could have put out"

That is a really sad indictment of the quality of our squad. I saw someone post on another forum that this is the worst Saints squad he could recall in all of our seasons in the Premier League and I find it hard to disagree, when we are reduced to Diallo as our defensive midfielder and Adam Armstrong as one of our two main strikers.

And couldn't we do with Romeu crunching into tackles and even Shane Long coming off the bench and Tella. Still, they would rather have players like Mara and Diallo. Romeu was too old I assume. But much f@cking better!!!

Just watched the highlights and just seen poor little Larios completely overpowered by Grealish and Haaland. He was like a little ant. We miss some aggressive strong players. Send out Tella to score a hateful for Burnley only to spend 10 million on Mara who is useless. Saints are totally hopeless.

Record Breaker Ralph.
He’s doing a good job though.
