SHall we get an ambulance? A taxi? The police? As it happens I am doing something similar with my mother, who can no longer get out to the shops by herself. Are you saying that I must also look down on (presumably) Labour voters because I am visiting my mother periodically? Not sure I quite follow the logic. Perhaps you have a similar outlook to that slimy little RMT gobshite who said he would have a party if Boris Johnson died? There are lots of elderly people who don't have family living nearby to supply them with food/medicine. We have systems in place to cater for this - even if they're not perfect. It's hard on everybody, but when I listen to ministers repeating the mantra "stay at home" over & over again, I expect them to follow not just the letter of the instructions but the spirit of them too. All in it together?? Total arrogance and hypocrisy. | |

There is no excuse for ANYONE to drive anywhere. We'd all like to see our f**king parents, but at this very moment in time, we can't. Simple as that. Just stay at home, whoever you are.
We've supported our parents (my wife's are have turned 70) by sending them stuff from local farm shops every week to keep them going and prevent them needing to make extra trips out.
I don't understand what is so hard about staying at home? ANY MP who is flouting this should be kicked out of their seat, whether they are right, left or upside f**king down. No excuse. Stay the f**k at home. | |
