Ross Stewart on 17:43 - Oct 4 with 4298 views | saintmark1976 | Having seen his second half effort against Manure where he looked unfit and being charitable at least a yard off the pace, it probably would be better for all concerned if he retired. He could go back to Sunderland to count his signing on fee and wages to date whilst looking for alternative employment. The Club could then stop wasting time and effort attempting to kid everyone that he’s one for the future.

Be brave RM & give Tall Paul a go, he literally can't be any worse than those that we've already tried.

None of the strikers will get goals if they don't get the ball forward.

Stitched up? He was coming back from serious injury when Soton took a punt and bought him. Look towards your own medical staff.

Whatever happened to the Consumers Rights. If you buy something that's not fit for purpose then you're entitled to get your money back. Ross Stewart definitely comes into that category. [Post edited 11 Oct 9:41]

If we bought him on a credit card, Section 75 of Consumer Credit Act may cover us !

I’d be inclined to medically retire him and claim on the insurance - as far as I know all players are insured against such an eventuality. The fact we signed him injured should not matter because months ago the club went out of their way to assure all of us that he had fully recovered from the injury he arrived with and the subsequent injuries are unrelated. Whilst I have a degree of sympathy for his plight, in terms of making any meaningful contribution he’s about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. So, I’d say let’s get it done and dusted and move on.

There’s no way he could have passed it. He was injured when we signed him and he’s been injured ever since.

Ross Stewart on 09:51 - Oct 12 with 1760 views | 1ASIN12 | Some fans are see Ross Stewart as this premier league quality striker who’s going to score the goals to keep us up. Even though he’s never played at this level prior to this season and been injured for the best part of 2 years . He was a crazy signing in 16 months or so ago and he still is.

Then I don't see how the club could make an insurance claim on him. Anyway, I hope we sign a decent striker, like Ayoub El Kaabi, in January, because we certainly need one. [Post edited 12 Oct 11:40]

We won't be signing anyone in January because we'll be rooted at the bottom of the lge & no-one will want to sign for a club that's getting relegated. And our owners won't be investing in the team, they'll be planning for another season in Championship. I do hope I'm wrong & I'll enjoy a huge slice of humble pie.
