I don’t know why people go to the Green Man either TBF.

Central London will be really busy Saturday, not only our game, but 4 other matches with big away followings
Newcastle at Arsenal, Everton at West Ham, Villa at Fulham and Derby at QPR
So worth going a bit off beaten track if you don’t want 30min queue for a beer [Post edited 21 Apr 7:15]

Depending on what side of the ground you are allocated, I’ve been going to pubs at Great Portland Street (for non Everton games, obviously). There’s a few of them, generally full of Wembley match goers but relatively easy to get served and then jump on the train and at Wembley in a few minutes. | | | |

It’s important we remember him, he was the best of us. The positive to our cynical old man ways.
We’ve got our seats at Wembley in roughly the same spot and are drinking in the same pub, be a few glasses raised in his honour and I know Nick is touched he’s remembered.
Got a feeling it’ll be a really tough day for Nick but he loves that his nipper is remembered and thought of fondly and highly by his mates.
Hopefully saints do their bit and give us an fa cup final for him too | | | |

When boxpark first opened their one in shoreditch as an ok little stop off for lunch and a pint if you were over that way, but as it's got bigger all of the seem to attract the worst kind of people.

Went to Kilburn bridge and North London Tavern. Easy to get served and beer in the bridge was under £5 pint, which surprised me. Then made was to ground via Kilburn Park, only to have problems with my rail ticket and no staff around. Apologies, to the person I tailgated through Barrier.
Then had problems with tube, where trains just suddenly terminated and getting thrown off.
Shame about result, but still a good day out and Saints fans should be proud how they supported team. [Post edited 26 Apr 10:28]

It was a Wetherspoons , right next to the tube, £2.99 was draft cider but lots more real ales, lagers around £3.

I was a bit disappointed with the Old Bell at Kilburn.
Didn’t take them long to get plastic glasses out, and they needed more bar staff.
They then stopped more people coming in a lot earlier than I would have expected, with a number of regular posters on here unable to get in.
Think I would happily try elsewhere next time. | |

All load of us as trains from Salisbury went to Reading went to Paddington
Pubs in the area were packed with Saints fans.
Our group planned ahead and booked tables in Bear.
Great pub, especially if you like real ale, and although really busy had adequate bar staff, no long queues, and served beer the proper glasses.
Then just had 20mins tube ride up to Wembley Central.

We stumbled across The Prince Albert literally by luck, I met my pals at Nottingham Hill Gate tube, they'd already been in "Spoons in Paddington and had no plans
Two minutes from the tube, admittedly not on the Jubilee, not very busy and easy to a round in quickly
I appreciate that a lot of people like busy pubs for the pre-game atmosphere, personally I'm happy to wait till I get to the ground for that and go the a pub off the beaten track a bit where I can get served quickly and a seat
The King Charles 1st off the Caledonian Road is a personal favourite, but a bit too far away to have been a viable option yesterday [Post edited 26 Apr 16:21]
