The home fans are going to have some fun at the stadiums where we wear that kit, although I guess they could be arrested for it.

On the plus side, whenever there's a famine or drought in Africa and the news channels are there to report on it, I usually see Man United, Real Madrid or Barcelona shirts aplenty being worn by the locals. Would be a nice change to see several dayglo pink Saints shirts in the background when the locals are being interviewed. |  |

Along with Everton (twice), Bournemouth, Sunderland, Man Utd, Leicester, Arsenal, Sheff Utd and Chelsea who have all had Pink 3rd kits in the PL.

Somehow can't see that with this kit, except for the female fans maybe. They used to sell pink Saints casual wear etc but purely in the women's range of marketing that went down well

Not sure why people are so surprised, there have been many examples of clubs having pink kits before, Pompey used to play in it just after they were formed.

Ironically, the recycling centre is exactly where the pink kit has come from! The Puma blurb tells us the shirts are made from 95% recycled materials - probably plastic bottles. It should have a boomerang logo on the sleeve instead of P&O cruises… |  | | |
