It's clearly obvious..when out and about be more aware of the associated risks by staying alert to the guidance issued at the outset, as you have more relaxation of movement you must stay alert to possible areas or surfaces that could be infected...so stay alert to the risks when exercising your new found freedoms.
The Guidance issued is confusing whatever way you look at it. 'Stay Alert' yeh! good luck with that at work.

They had to find an ambiguous nonsensical message that didn’t clash with them sending some people into crowded workplaces. You cannot STAY SAFE but please do STAY ALERT until you die. I don’t necessarily disagree with the easing of the lockdown although We don’t know the details yet but I really do despise waffle and nonsense.

Exactly! Most people can apply common sense, but there are far too many with zero sense.
Still, it's far easier for me, I've got to stay in the house anyway until the end of June at the earliest - I just need to make sure that any deliveries are well cleansed :)
If you listened to Johnson you could go back to work today (not by public transport but by walking or bike). If you listen to Raab you go back to work Wednesday. Originally the quarantine was for air travel only. Now it includes ships and rail...but not if you travel from France (I guess that they don’t have Coronavirus there). All pretty straight forward.

around 10% of COVID deaths were in the 20-65 age bracket. 80% of that 10% had underlying health issues....

France going back to school today as well as easing many restrictions. We need to protect the vulnerable so anyone who is one of the 1.2 mill at risk like GC should be staying at home already. We should also enforce the pensioners to stay at home to protect them whilst the rest of the country attempts to rebuild the economy.
It may not be fair but it would protect them whilst the younger workforce who want or need to work for the sake of their families got the wheels turning again. I expect some on here might not like that but at the same time hey are asking for total lockdown which is also unfair.
If the lockdown continues 1 more month 250,000 businesses will go bust , 3 months it would be over 1,000,000 that's a lot of unemployed people.
