Astonished to see comment in today’s Echo that Hasenhüttl has ‘no relationship with some players’. Well what a revelation that is surely it can’t be true? Anybody who has watched Saints through the best part of last season and now this would know it’s blindingly fu ckin obvious that most of them do not. Hence he should be gone before the next embarrassment occurs at Man. City. Rightly or wrongly Ralph seems to have run his course at Saints. Playbooks and automatisms are all very well but we are broadly speaking where we've always been in the league and we are still letting in goals and losing to teams that we should target for wins.
Other teams are far less tolerant. Watford, Wolves even Middlesborough have just sacked Chris Wilder. I'm not saying it's right, but it's what happens.
