C*** Goal Music 21:57 - Dec 17 with 3926 views

Im surprised that i don't find myself angered by the cr** goal music when we score, I have worked out that it is because i am sick to death of half the ground being silent and the other half spening most of their time singing songs about Pompey.

The goal music might be cr*p, it might be artificially rousing the crowd, but at least it is getting people out of their seats and making a bit of noise and that is better than nothing.

Hopefully it will stir some of them to actually make some noise other than when they join in when we score.

Well thats my take on it whats other peoples views

It’s a bit of a shame as I have always really liked the song.

I don’t mind it TBH; most in the Itchen North seem to quite enjoy it and it winds the away fans up a bit when we score.

I just think it’s good news when we hear it as it means we have scored, and we know it isn’t going to be chalked off by VAR.

It’s criminally shocking and a total embarrassment imho.

While the team and manager are doing their bit in getting us results, the idiots in charge are making us look a total embarrassment.

Certainly divided opinion on this one!
I like it too, it's a bit of daft fun and as you say it sticks it to the away lot.
Maybe every season they can change to a different tune.

Hadn’t been down since the Rotherham game until Saturday.

I was surprised at how many people seemed to be joining in with it given we’re a stuffy old bunch of moaners by and large.

I’m in the camp of, if it gets people on their feet joining in then it’s not the worst thing in the world. That said, I didn’t feel the need to do the zombie when we scored
I much prefer to pretend to want to go over the netting whilst giving the away fans the finger (not really)
Off the top of my head, I’m sure Middlesbrough and QPR have had goal music for years?

The crowd get about 30 seconds to go mad which is quite a long time, before the music starts, which then prolongs the celebration for another minute ....so personally I like it. It's a bit American Football but gets the place rocking.

I think the music starts after the chap on the tannoy has announced the goalscorer.

Which in itself often creates a bit of a lull if people don’t know who scored and want to listen out for it.

So the music arguably prolongs the noise.

I’m personally fine with it.

But if it was Coldplay, I would be doing my nut.
