| Fiorentina Or West Ham Tonight 08:51 - Jun 7 with 2002 views | SaintNick | Who do you want to win, in some respects I think that if the Hammers win then they will go for JWP and it will be attractive to him as they will be in Europe next season | |

| Fiorentina Or West Ham Tonight on 10:30 - Jun 7 with 1940 views | kingslandstand1 | For once, the British team in Europe Re being attractive to JWP, just being in the Prem will surely be attractive if he wants to go? Slightly more extreme but similar analogy, should Kane stay at Spurs and not play in Europe (or are they in the Conference, but you know what I mean), or go to Madrid or Man U and play in the Champs League? | |

| Fiorentina Or West Ham Tonight on 17:44 - Jun 7 with 1726 views | hedgeend61 | I don't get why anyone would want another English team to win a Trophy Saints have never won. On the radio last night a goon who said he was a Millwall supporter said he wanted West Ham to win (sure they thought he was on a wind up), and we have goons like Grumpy who would want Pompey to win if they were in the final tonight. Thankfully they're as rare as hens teeth, and not proper supporters. | | | |

| Fiorentina Or West Ham Tonight on 22:08 - Jun 7 with 1610 views | SFC_Referee | Well yet another team that decided to stick with their manager has had it pay off for them! Still is kinda annoying on the fact that it could’ve been us for the teams we’ve had like 5/6 years ago, but just we didn’t take our chances and didn’t even have the ECL when we came 7th and didn’t make Europa league. Still sure is annoying to watch | |

He’s still just an overly tattooed pikey tvvat with no moral compass. No amount of money can ever hide that when the manchild looks in the mirror.

Partly as I really dislike them, but also partly as there is no reason whatsoever why that could not have been us if we had not been horrifically mismanaged over the last 5 years. Could be Brighton next.

You're right. Fookin' Reading. Won the league the same season we went up as runners up. Look at them now, League 1... and then look at us.

| Fiorentina Or West Ham Tonight on 11:12 - Jun 8 with 1354 views | DorsetIan | I was pleased for them. There seem to be a lot of decent, likeable, people at WH - Moyes, Rice, always respected Noble... But most pleased for Bowen. Always rated him as a player and again seems like a down to earth bloke. | |

| Fiorentina Or West Ham Tonight on 11:26 - Jun 8 with 1348 views | TimSaint | Didn't really care who won, but wanted the exciting game it was never going to be !! UEFA don't like the English, so maybe they will get banned from Europe after the bottle throwing incident that hurt the Fiorentina skipper ? Know a few Hammers, so it was good for them - especially 1 of them who managed to get a ticket (their allocation was a tiny 5k !!) The Hammers winning has really riled the Spurs contingent - we can't have West Ham winning a trophy before us etc etc :-) | |

And T/Sport this morning. I wanted West Ham to win (family reasons, nothing against "why want an English club that's not Saints to win anything" argument) but I just had to turn to another station, and Moyes in now manager of the century!!

Fair do’s to them, but as you say the coverage especially from the BBC is well over the top. City are playing in the CL final on Saturday to win the treble and there’s barely been a mention of it. The last two times the other shower have been there the BBC have set up all of their Five Live programmes around their outside broadcast from Madrid and Paris, interviewing every beaut from the Home Counties. The biased coverage is shocking, yet predictable.

West Ham and Spurs have traditionally been popular with the London-based media since the 1960s. It's been a long time since West Ham "won the World Cup" in 1966 but the tradition lives on. I remember seeing Saints beat West Ham's World Cup winners 6-2 in the season following the '66 World Cup finals. Bobby Moore was always terrible at the Dell and we used to score hatfuls of goals when he played. It was the same when Moore, George Best and Rodney Marsh played here with Fulham in the 70s. The Everton team of the late 60s with Alan Ball was a far tougher proposition. I must admit I enjoyed the UEFA Conference Final - a competition which most fans thought would be a flop. The sheer joy of the West Ham players, coaching staff and fans was up there with some of the great European finals of the 60s and 70s. [Post edited 8 Jun 2023 20:13]
