Likewise I've acquired a ticket in the West Ham section so will be interesting to gauge our support whilst I pretend to shout "you facking cheating cants" at you in my best Essex brogue.

Heavy rain all afternoon and evening. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ A large majority of 60 thousand fans all queuing to get back on trains means waiting in the rain by that shopping centre. We are going to get wet!

Wet, drenched fans blowing all over the place, umbrellas inside out, tree branches whizzing by us. Hopefully we win or it will be a wet and miserable journey back home. Are there any places, pubs, restaurants near West Ham to get cover to let crowds die down or will Saints fans not be welcome? [Post edited 22 Oct 13:58]

I would just join queue to get to station, rather than go to Pudding Mill Lane. It is still a bit of walk to Pudding Mill lane, and then you have to get DLR back to Stratford, for Jubilee line back to Waterloo. Pudding Mill lane is not a big station and you could still possibly, end up queuing for DLR ? Worst case, you could get caught with People going to AbbA Voyage show early ! The queue is to just regulate people into Stratford station. Last time I went it was around 15 minutes. As it is forecast to p**s down, it may be worth considering going back through Westfield shopping centre, and walking to Jubilee line from from there, but this route is usually regulated on match days as well.

Just rain tomorrow, I’m sure our wonderful trains can run in the rain? Probably not.

Will therefore have to watch the beer intake.

Don't forget the M3 is closed at Winchester this weekend to remove the old bridges at the A34 intersection. Getting to Newbury will be a headache

Did you get tickets for tomorrow? I'm going but could only buy 2 as other tickets are a ball ache to transfer, like Watford away. [Post edited 23 Oct 16:58]

Hi, I couldn't get a Saints Away ticket, but was offered a spare ticket from a West Ham friend. However, I can't make it now as I am helping my daughter move house. I did check today, and they are still on general sale/ticket exchange (most sections). Hopefully the wind and rain eases tomorrow, not just for the game, but because I have hired a 7.5 tonne lorry and haven't driven one for at least 20 years. It is scary to think back in the 80's you got a C1 class on license after passing your car driving test ! Enjoy ! [Post edited 23 Oct 18:43]

I’ve regularly used Pudding Mill lane, and never had any issues after games, as it’s easier to get to from away end than most home sections

Quite a contrast in the weather!! Drive to Woking, train to Waterloo then most likely the simple way to Stratford but will try the Pudding Mill Lane option on the way back and hope for shorter queues and less time getting wet. 😬🙄😤
