Many seem to be demanding that Ralph Hasenhuttl is sacked, OK so who do you get to replace him ?

I want Thomas Frank as he's the best option out there, I expect a manager from Europe i've never heard of.

Surely the list of candidates is endless as this message board alone holds dozens of better managers?

Why is he still letting that half-wit Semmens run the club?

He’ll go nowhere until the club are in the bottom 3.
Lose the next three games, Man City, West Ham and Bournemouth, and that could be the case.

It’s up to Martin ‘no family time at weekends’ Semmens and the owners to pick the manager not a load of half wits on a message board.

Astonished to see comment in today’s Echo that Hasenhüttl has ‘no relationship with some players’. Well what a revelation that is surely it can’t be true? Anybody who has watched Saints through the best part of last season and now this would know it’s blindingly fu ckin obvious that most of them do not. Hence he should be gone before the next embarrassment occurs at Man. City. They might still be underdogs but without his clown antics and obnoxious attitude they at the very least will show some fight.

Be honest, no one had heard of Ralph Ralph before he came here and he didn't do too badly for our expectations in the first few years

But that may have been down to his coaching team which has now changed

So whoever it may be, if indeed it does happen, will have all on here's full backing ...... possibly

There aren’t many well-known British managers around who would accept working the way that Saints do, with the emphasis on buying young unproven talent.

Unless their career was on the downward spiral.

Eddie Howe’s stock was a lot lower a year ago than it is now. He might have taken it this time last year.

I strongly suspect it would be somebody we have never heard of. As it was with Hassenhutl…..

Would like to see an up and coming, young English coach. There are quite a few out there in the Football League.
Don't need to look too far to see what a good job is being done by Steve Schumacher, just one example.

Rightly or wrongly Ralph seems to have run his course at Saints. Playbooks and automatisms are all very well but we are broadly speaking where we've always been in the league and we are still letting in goals and losing to teams that we should target for wins.

Other teams are far less tolerant. Watford, Wolves even Middlesborough have just sacked Chris Wilder. I'm not saying it's right, but it's what happens.

If Ralph goes then I'd go for Sean Dyche. I'd genuinely lie to see what he can do with a little more resource than he's used to.

I think it’s allways a poor excuse when the best someone can come up with for a reason not to sack Ralph is “ well who would you replace him with”

As pointed out by Dirk it’s not up to us fans to make that decision- after all not many Saints fans , if any, had Ralph down to replace Hughes .

Matthias Jaissle would be my pick. A fine, young, up and coming German manager who plays very quick attacking, entertaining football. Red Bull Salzburg's average player age is just 22. Sound familiar?

Not a bad win ratio either at 69.62% - albeit in Austria.

The fella has a huge managerial future in the game.

It'll probably be Rueben Sellers.
Cheap and already involved with the players.
They'll give him the rest of the season.
We're a bargain basement type of club.

I have no idea who is better than Hassenhuttl, that's up to the people that are paid very well to identify. All I know is that his record is guff, the players don't seem fussed (already) and there is probably some manager out there who will come in and do better.

‘He’ll go nowhere until the club are in the bottom 3.’

After Leicester’s hammering of Forest last night we could well be in the bottom 3 by 16:00 on Sunday.
Still, Hassenhüttl is doing a good job so no need to panic.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.
