tarbs gave the ball away leading to their first and Jenas was indecisive as to either kick the ball, pass the ball, ackowledge the ball was there which led to their beakaway 2nd goal.

Keep BZ and LR fit for the run in and you never know.

Granero took a knock early in the 1st half and tried to run it off.

BZ played well although resembled a one legged man.

Evra and Nani go down like sacks of sheet, Bobby Zamora he stays on his feet

Good work from many but the usual poor ball control and anemic offensive finishing. Glimpses of positivity but it looks nowhere near enough. BZ looks done. Remy simply must stay fit and Tarbs has to play a lot better than in this outing.

Made the 60 mile journey home with a feeling of dispair. We had most of our new boys on the pitch but it just seemed like the same old team. Everyone turstatues as soon as they got 20 yards into the Man U half.
The first goal real knocked the stuffing out of the crowd and for long periods the ground was almost silent,as if we were at a funeral, & perhaps we were? Nobody was rubbish but then no-one was terrific. Credit once again to Mackie for his fighting spirit. Zamora gave us glimpses of the player he could be if his body was not letting him down. Cesar was helpless in both goal situations. jenas looked nothing special. Man U played the entire game in 2nd gear while we were almost in reverse. A sad ,sad day. Its not over yet but my heart is in my boots.

Plenty of effort from Rangers but United never really had to break sweat in order to see this game out. We still seem to be incapable of holding the ball long enough to allow any periods of sustained pressure to develop which is not only frustrating but is also becoming tortuous to watch. I'm still holding on to hope but having one or two meaningful shots per game alongside a few hopeful 30 yard lashes is not filling me with much confidence at present.

Hernandez was rubbish, despite his childish, and stupid genuflecting to his imaginary-friend-in-the-sky pre-ko.

Look Chikkicheeto, if there is a god she certainly didn't do you any favours. So ether there was no one there to hear you, or, it doesn't like you, either way your pleading didn't work.

Yes, he was rubbish, he didn't connect with a single cross, his mate fell down a hole, and he was rightly hauled off on 61, filling my atheist heart with joy!

Still, he's got a lot more money than I have.

Perhaps that's it, for 'it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven'. Matthew 19:24, read it and weep, Javier, young man...

As for Rangers, I can't wait for us to score again!

I could only listen on a the radio but a game we could have won should have won and threw away with piss poor defending again.

Expected result but still disappointing. Townsend was my man of the match. Someone who will run at players and make them take a backward step. I know Zamora is injured and not fit and there is not really a replacement but I thought he was totally ineffective. Did he win a single ball in the air? I cannot remember one. Otherwise lots of players looking clumsy on the ball - Mbia, Samba, Mackie in particular. 5 premier league games at home in a row without a goal.

impressed with townsend some world class saves from cesar we created very little strange to see adel out on the wing. they could have scored 1 or 2 more we might have got one back. performance not bad considering the opposition. next few games will decide if we have any chance of survival which looks unlikely.
