If only we could cutout the obvious which has become part of every game now we would be so much better of.l am still not convinced that Valery is the answer to the right back position, fo me he doesn't track back enough to help out.
Did like what l saw in Djenepo hope he gets to start against Brighton.Hopefully next week will be a better result,Coyr.

Deserved at least a draw today.
Che Adams impressed me - think he’ll shine against lesser opponents and with better support.
Nathan Redmond - worst player on pitch today for Saints - poor anticipation, lazy & weak, failing to hold any balls up, win anything and just gave up each time

Saintbrock - lol fair cop. I think I'm stuck in the 90's!

Good to see Yosh back. My impression at the time was Gunn might have saved their second. Overall, I thought we played quite well and could have had a draw. Tactically, I thought Ralph had it right - the Liverpool fullbacks were pushed back, we were very compact. I thought Oriol was immense and I am becoming very frustrated with Andre Mariner's decisions.

My only critisism goes to Højbjerg for not putting in a bloody block/tackle when Mané scored.
Don´t tell me that he couldn´t put his foot in , or even better - his whole body - to prevent Mané (probably the most dangerous man with the ball at the edge of the box in the premier league) from shooting.
I hate to call Højbjerg a ball watcher, but ball watching was what he was doing in that situation.
I wanna see some bloody tackling/blocking when any player has the ball at the edge of our penalty box.
Otherwise a very good performance by Saints,
and Liverpool had their normal ever-present small-margins- luck, which is ultimately why they won.
Yoshida not heading the ball in the net in the first half from an otherwise fine header (which should have been headed more downwards) and Ings not hitting target and equalizing from the 6-yard box at the end, was painful to watch.
Saints Motm Gunn or Romeu. Good 20 minutes from Djenepo on his debut.

KriSaint, Hojberg did not play well yesterday in fact he played poorly by his usual standard whether he was still out of sorts is hard to say but he seemed too hesitant both on and off the ball
