Should have bought a centre half then Stephens would not be playing. He is always an accident waiting to happen.

An absolutely appalling game. Stephens shouldn't be there. Long is the worst player I've ever seen and JWP just chases shadows. I was just thinking how did we win that terrible game? And then a childish handball killed it. If anyone is still talking to him I'd be very surprised.

Lost for words how do we manage to do stupid sh-t to lose games l am just amazed.Only us it seems can do stuff to ourselves, although this was a make up call that they didn't get in the first half. The mistake of not getting a goalscorer in the window looks to be a possible big mistake l hope not.Redmond still on a hot streak though than goodness as we will be in a lot of trouble if not for him at the moment.Agree with SaintBrock trying to defend a 1 goal lead was asking for trouble.

Ummmm. We didn't lose? 4 PTS dropped against rivals, with Cardiff up next. We all know what the issues are and they haven't been addressed. I mentioned a few days ago that our only two strikers are prone to injury and not buying cover looked foolish and a dangerous gamble. I feel sick and bloody cold. We'll stay up because we have a manager who is doing incredible things with an average squad and 4 or 5 teams are worse than us - for now.

Trying to defend a 1-0 lead for 20 minutes is a stupid and futile plan.

Scrappy game against primitive Burnley.
After having screamed into a pillow for half a minute I´m satisfied with our point today, but for f***s sake Saints......, why are we so bad at defending a lead? Yes, it was probably more a freekick to Stephens because of a push than an illegal hand ball, but what was his hand doing up there? Great goal by Redmond.
MOTM for me: Vestergaard. Very disappointed with Long who couldn´t hold the ball for a second and didn´t look like wanting to run much. Where was Galllagher in the squad for a type of game like this? Very proud, though, with 7 academy players in the match squad, 4 of them starting.
I agree with the ref, that it was NOT a penalty for Barnes in the first half, the diving chromosome lacking garbage player.

Why do we always think we are going to beat the teams around us? We are where we are for a reason. We are not good enough to progress any further than the teams around us. We keep thinking we are going to get 3 points here and 3 points there. We are not a lot better than the teams around us. We are in a relegation scrap. When Stevens (who is quite frankly hopeless as seen at the Palace game) was talked up by the manager some of us wondered whether it meant we were not going to sign a new centre back. We have not signed a new centre back. We are going to have to rely on spirit to be sure of staying up.

Not sure we were that bad today. Very disappointing to lose 2 pts to the last kick of the match but we deserved at least a point. Next week is a real 16 pointer...
