Playing for their Cup Final place today no doubt about it, only weak link was JWP again. Good for Jack Stephens, he won't have too many games as easy as this but looked more composed and gave himself time and space and freed up Cedric to get forward.Romeu, Yoshida, Bertrand, Davis what can you say? Simply magical in link up play and close passing out of trouble. Front line excellent. Big shout for Manolo Gabbiadini 3 in 2 and new to the Premier League (you're having a laugh!)

Jay Rodriguez definitely on his way out and he knows it, at least 4th choice now.

Next season with everyone fit we will be Top 6 for sure

Great result despite having JWP in the team. Where would we be in the league now if we bought Gabbiadini in the summer? Please please don't play JWP in the final.

Started the first half well but we do not take our chances. There first goal was well worked .. the second We should have defended better. Washington nearly scored but there goalie did well. Second half big improvement freeman took his goal well smashing it in. To be fair with the chances we made and the free kicks we should have equalised but they held on. To be fair they are a good side and I can see them getting automatic promotion. We should have had a pen but ref might missed it. Starting to get nervous we need a crap performance and get the 3 points to get out of this but feels like this will go down to the end given our inconsistency

I have also thoughts that JWP is a weak link but he has had several good games recently so don't write him off. I trust Puel to get the best out of him. There can be no doubt that he is far superior to Classie and just ahead of Hojb..

But let's celebrate a wonderful away win against Sunderland. I believe that without a rotation policy nearly all our 'first team' would be injured, played out or on red cards and that none of our squad players would be ready to take up the fight. I expect that now we have less games that Puel will select a more regular team but even so he must be allowed to select different players for different games, it's called tactics and thatis whywe have a manager. We may not always agree with the manager and I don't suppose Puel would agree with Nick abou Yoshida.

It looks like goals are easier to come by now and that despite some worries our defense is looking solid. We can't ask for much more. Oh!, perhaps a stronger midfield, but Romeu and Davis were exceptional today.

Bertrand certainly showed us why we need him as a left back (not in the centre) and Gabbiadini is confirming that he should have been signed in August. It has certainly been a very up and down season and my feeling is mostly of relief that we got a much needed win. Now we can start picking our cup final team with a little bit of the league pressure off!

Not sure why so many people have it in for JWP, in a game like this his ability to pass the ball both short and long can be a real asset and I don't think a lot of people realise that and just slag him off whatever the result.

Now we have Gabbiadini the midfield have someone to pass to and this could benefit JWP who too often has to go sideways because there is no option forwards

Hard game as expected everyone of their players looked over six foot all very physical and half the team booked. We did very well to win that game all the team played well and impressed with the hard work throughout the game. Special praise for Ned who again got some unwarranted stick from a few fans, he saved us more than once. Freeman turning into quite a signing very skilful
Excellent goal from Connor pleased for him and really showing why we signed him together with Matt Smith again another great goal. Think they will stay up the lad bogle had a good game. Great at last to see a win at LR bit of rareity this season hopefully onwards and upwards
