The squirrel was on his own up front for long periods in the first half but no one could find him which was ashame because I thought his movement and energy levels were superb and was very surprised that Mark Hughes didnt send him out for the second half. All joking aside I thought we played very well in periods today and it was just luck that desserted us. I am one of Joey Bartons biggest critics and although he gave the ball away a few times he really did battle for the team. I thought Clint Hill was superb today and looks more at home centrally, Derry played well and there was alot of grit, it will be interesting to see next week whether Diakite comes back and takes the place of SWP who I think needs a rest and can come on as an impact player. Hope Cisse can pick up where he left off before getting sent off.

Yes once again Clint Hill proved his worth. Shame Warnock had him off on loan earlier in the season. He showed a lot of grit and determination.

Might be useful to give him another years contract?

Great to see Clint Hill given credit for his yet another solid performance. If and is say if we r playing in next season's Championship he would be the first name on my team sheet. Could have done with three points yesterday but its was certainly some consolation that we didn't receive a red card and more importantly didn't lose. Should have a strong squad available for the 'MUST WIN' Bolton match.

I thought that Hill was outstanding for the 2nd week and if he keeps it up will earn another year, especially if we do go down. I thought Barton was better against Fulham and much better today. All players make mistakes and if he can avoid giving the ball away he is well worth his place in the team. I am not a fan of his either but we have to get behind All the players. I was disappointed that Mackie wasn't pushed up alongside Zamora who had played the lone striker roll very well. Onuoha getting better (and fitter) with every game.

Yes definitely another contract for Clint Hill, whatever division next season. If only more of the players had his attitude & application.

I only managed to see the game on the internet with a foreign commentary but, with that restriction, I don't think we could have done much more. The Hill goal, looked a penalty, Mackie unlucky, Zamora hit the underside of the bar and what were the bookings of Onuoha and Diakite for? A brave attempt, 3 subs (although I wouldn't have swapped Taiwo for Traore) to win the game almost came off but backfired. Diakite looks very good but I don't suppose he'll want to sign for a Championship club.

So disappointing yet again.7 points from 24 against our main rivals is a shocking return and will probably condemn us to to Championship football next season. The new management team has been a disaster so far and a bottom of the table finish is on the cards if things don't change very soon. Have just checked the relegation odds and the bookies are tipping us to go down for the first time this season. The next couple of months will reveal all.
