Back to our old ways again, no real effort to many passes going astray, very lackluster and disappointed to say the least. Could not pick any one player for Saints who was outstanding really, we had a great chance to move up the league but failed once more.

We seem to play worst in games like this, against well-organised but relatively limited opposition. Of course Stoke are not just well-organised now and have some greatly talented players too, but they're not going to finish top 6. Without Mane playing (or playing well) we don't have much flair and become very predictable.
All in all, us and Stoke are evenly matched this season, which you might take as a positive or negative evaluation

Another inept performance where we almost (and probably did to a certain extent) get out of jail. When we went 2-0 down it looked for all the money like Bournemouth would threaten Chelsea's tally of last season but with two bits of good fortune we got ourselves back level but never really looked like scoring again during the game. Too many players looking like they are not up for the fight which is the bit that is more worrying and disappointing than anything. The passion and desire is just not there at the moment and with Liverpool, Leicester and Man City to come next then it could be a long winter ahead. Where was the performance we were promised?

A point hard earned against an honest,hard-working team that we should have been capable of dismantling. Ki & Shelvey lacked commitment, Williams looks totally knackered, & there does not appear to be any clear leadershipout on the field. Ayew fought alone, & at this rate I suspect that we will lose him sooner rather than later. Eder given a chance, but I suppose it's not really fair to judge him on this performance alone - certainly when he was swapped for Gomis, there was no change to our play. Unfortunately, today's display will not relieve any of the mounting pressure on Garry Monk.

I'm beginning,no, I am, very concerned about our recent signings. Classie,Soares and Juanmi just do not seem to be upto the task of playing in the premiership. I question the wisdom of signing them. We are playing with too many weak links to dominate or take charge of a game.
Have we abandoned our home grown talent? We have had some good games but displays like this could be the end of our dreams and see us tumble down the league. Call me all sorts of names but that is the way I see it.

Yeah we weren't great and the ref might have given us more but to be honest I thought Stoke were very decent today and worthy of the three points.

Why do we always get sh!t refs . ?? We played poorly by our standards but it seems we get shafted by the ref when we need a couple of decisions to actually go our way . When our players are constantly elbowed ,kicked with foul after foul and get phuck all then it's draining for the players and the fans .
That said Stoke done what they came to do .
International breaks do us no favours either
