One to forrget. Shame for the fans who went up, club should reimburse them. Bloody funny team selection, surely Hutch knew enough about the fringe players not to take the risk on playing them or doesn't he care about finishing 17th. Well he is responsible for today's fiasco solely and playing to lose smacked a little bit of arrogance to me

The annointed one was bang on form today even falling over in his own box when a tackle would have been easier.

One more yellow and Oriol will have the complete set and can swap them for a dunces hat!

I have no idea what Ralf was thinking today. It was a case of playing players who we already know are not good enough. Forster can't catch a cold in a hospital let alone a ball. El-no-usey is just that. Stephens seems to have become Championship class. Stuart Armstrong would be great for say Derby or Forest. This side needs some serious surgery in the summer. If you count the money wasted on these players and all those on loan and you realise just how bad the Reed/Krueger time was. I almost think Ralf used this to show how bad the fringe players are. As for I_Would... you can't blame Prowsey. He came on and put the ball in to great areas.

The game changed for the worse when Armstrong went off and the lightweight Ward-Prowse came on. Danny Ings was once again ineffective and looks a complete waste of £20 million. Jack Stephens has to go along with Elyounoussi. Valery also had a poor game yesterday giving the ball away for the first goal. Looks like Mr Gao needs to spend a lot of money to replace the rubbish we have built up over the last 3 years.

I saw things a bit differently from most of the above. This is just my perspective but Ely looked a lot better to me, that's not too much praise as he was dire earlier in the season. His final ball was better and he did some good stuff of the Ings and long non scoring variety but that doesn't count for much with most people, Armstrong was totally lightweight and ineffective , I'm leaning towards the flog him off camp as our midfield is so strong, and poor old Forster was looking okay but fell off fast and looks spent, ......that second goal jeez. Until Redmond came on we looked to be preparing for our summer break . Ralph hopefully was using this free game to look at a few players but if that was a serious team picked to get a result against West Ham, he made a big mistake. Oh well, bring on next season, this one is done.

Maybe there's a conspiracy going on in the Premier League, the way team picks a crap side so that the home team is guaranteed a win in their last home game of the season so fans go home happy and team of better things next year and crucially stand in line to renew their season tickets?

Well, you never know... nothing is impossible.

... er, Ward Prowse winning a one on one tackle maybe.

Decent first 15 minutes of the second half. Apart from that a game to forget as fast as possible.
Elyounouissi got a full game and the writing on the wall couldn´t be more clear: Thanks and goodbuy.
Stephens gave away too many balls, even for his standards.
Lemina tried hard but nothing came of it.
I guess the game what valuable for RH in a sense.

The most exciting moment for me was leaving St Marys to go home.

Well that was a complete let down, great goal from Redmond but please learn to pass by the time you come back next season. We still lost points again from the defense although it was the keeper this time who normally is the one you don't expect to make the mistake.Hopefully we get rid of the deadwood that is so obvious so we don't have to go through another season like these last two.Nobody covered there selves in glory this game but we go on and think positive that under Ralf next year will be a lot better with a full season under him, that's 65 years supporting Saints never a dull moment, but God willing next year l will make 66 COYS.

I didn´t see the game, unfortunately. I´m waiting for more comments on both the game and the post match atmosphere at Saint Mary´s. Did any players (Austin?) look like saying goodbye like Tadic did last year after the last game of the season?
